Are credits shared between my sites?

No, and that's deliberate.Every site has its own subscription and its own balance. A busy client site can't spend a quiet one's credits, and you never have to work out which site used what.It also means a runaway job on one site can only ever affect that site. Do note though, that you can switch credits between website licenses in your Presstack account if you do have an overage of credits on a client account.

What happens if a job fails halfway through?

You aren't charged for it.The balance check happens before the work starts, and the deduction happens when the work completes. A failed write, a timeout, or an interrupted run costs you nothing.

Can I see what's been spent?

Yes, and it's itemised.Every charge is listed with what it was for, which page it related to, and when. If a month looks higher than expected, you can see exactly which jobs caused it.

How many credits will I actually need?

Depends almost entirely on how much you publish or track.A site putting out four articles a month with an image each is a modest number. A site stamping out sixty location pages in one go is a large one, but it's a one off rather than a monthly cost. The calculator above is the quickest way to get a realistic figure. Is there a cheaper way to write more?

Write drafts and edit them yourself rather than asking for rewrites.A rewrite costs the same as the original, so three attempts at one article costs three articles. Filling in the business details properly is the better lever. The more Cleo knows about the business, the closer the first draft lands, and the fewer attempts you need.That's not a sales line. Do credits cost the same everywhere?

No. Like the subscriptions, credit prices are set by region rather than converted from one figure.The UK, the US, Europe, Canada and Australia each have their own. You see the price where you are, in your own currency, and that's what you're charged — no conversion appearing on the statement later.If someone quotes you a different number, they're probably in a different region rather than on a different deal.

A credit is spent when Cleo produces something - content, an image, a live search. Everything else she does runs on your subscription and isn't counted.

That includes all the work people expect to be metered including the 24 checks, every fix she applies, the titles and descriptions, the image descriptions, telling Google about the business, the keyword research, the advice, the reports. None of it touches your balance.
