Meet Cleo
Who Cleo is, how to talk to her, what she can do for you, and when she asks before spending credits.
Cleo is the assistant inside Presstack. She looks after your site day to day: checking it, suggesting improvements, writing when you ask, and fixing what she's allowed to fix. Think of her as a capable colleague who knows your business (from your Knowledgebase), works every day, and always shows you what she's done.
Where She Lives
Open Cleo in the Presstack menu on the left. It takes you to Cleo HQ, her home screen. Underneath you'll find:
- Cleo HQ: your site's health, what she's working on, and her notes.
- To Do: everything she suggests, most useful first.
- History: everything that's been changed on your site, with a button to put it back.
- How Cleo Works: the screens where you shape how she behaves: Voice & Mood, Autonomy, Auto-Run and Memory.

Talking To Cleo
You can talk to Cleo in plain English, the same way you'd message a colleague. Press the round Open Cleo button at the bottom right of any Presstack screen, type into Ask Cleo, and press Send. There's also an Ask Cleo button on your Dashboard.
Some things you can ask her to do:
- plan, build or refresh a page;
- research a topic and write, refresh or organise blog posts;
- research keywords, rewrite search titles and descriptions, add schema and fix issues;
- create images and fill in missing image descriptions;
- sort your unread enquiries by what they need.
If you're not sure whether she can do something, just ask. She'll tell you.
What It Costs
Chatting with Cleo is free. So is asking her questions, asking for advice, and having her plan things out.
Credits are only used when she actually creates something for you, such as writing a post, building a page or making an image. Before she does anything that costs 2 credits or more, she stops and shows you the cost: "This costs 4 credits — the breakdown is on the card below. Approve to go ahead, or cancel." Nothing is charged until you approve.
If you don't have enough credits for something, you'll see Not Enough Credits before anything happens, with your balance and what the job needs.
