Cleo HQ
Your site's health score, Cleo's daily checks, her notes, and running a scan yourself.
Cleo HQ is the first screen you see when you open Cleo. It's the overview: how healthy your site is, what Cleo has been doing, and what she thinks you should know.
HQ Home
The HQ Home tab is the summary.
At the top you'll see how many things are waiting in Cleo's To Do List: ideas and changes waiting for your OK, most useful first. Press it to go straight there.
Your SEO Health
The SEO Health card gives your site a grade, then a few numbers:
| Number | What it means |
|---|---|
| Checks Run | How many checks the last scan ran. |
| Issues Found | Problems the scan found. |
| Cleo Can Fix | How many of those Cleo can fix for you. |
| Needs You | How many need your decision or your input. |
| Fixed This Week | What's been fixed in the last seven days. |
| Search Clicks | Clicks from Google, if you've connected Search Console. |
If you see Not Scanned Yet, run your first scan (below).
Cleo's Work
A chart of the fixes Cleo has made. Switch between the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
Cleo's Notes
Cleo writes you short notes as she goes: what she noticed Today, This Week's Plan, a Friday Review of the week, and a Monthly Report. Anything she's prepared for you to look at shows under Ready For You.
Running A Scan
Cleo checks your whole site every day by herself, so you don't have to remember. But if you've just made changes and want to see the result straight away, press Scan My Site. It's at the right of the tabs on every Cleo HQ screen.
The scan opens the Site Health tab and works through its checks one by one, showing Scan in progress with how many are done. When it finishes you'll see when it ran and how many checks it ran.
Scanning is free. Looking and checking never use credits.
What The Scan Looks For
A long list of checks, covering things like:
- broken links and broken images;
- pages missing a title, description or main heading;
- pages Google has been told to ignore;
- redirect chains and loops;
- pages nothing links to, and pages buried too deep in the site;
- thin pages, duplicate descriptions, and pages competing with each other for the same search;
- oversized images, and images with no description;
- missing opening hours, featured images or social previews;
- pages losing their rankings or traffic.
The Other Tabs
Cleo HQ also has Issues & Fixes, Site Health, Content Quality, Advice, Analytics & Actions and Performance. Site Health is the full scan, check by check, and Issues & Fixes lists what it found. If nothing's wrong you'll see Nothing flagged right now. Cleo checks daily.
