Refreshing A Page

Cleo rewrites a page's words and search details, keeping its layout, and shows you before and after first.

Updated

Pages go stale just like blog posts. Prices change, services change, and the wording that was fine three years ago now reads like three years ago. Refresh The Copy has Cleo rewrite the words of a page for today, keeping its layout exactly as it is.

How It Works

  1. On Pages → All Pages, open the page's More menu and choose Refresh The Copy.
  2. You'll see the cost before anything happens. Confirm it.
  3. Cleo rewrites the page's words and its search details. This can take up to a minute.
  4. You see the result side by side: Current (Before) and Refreshed (After). Nothing on your page has changed yet.
  5. Press Apply This Refresh to put the new words on the page, or Discard to leave it as it was.

You're charged once, when the preview is made. Applying it costs nothing more. If the page is edited by someone else between the preview and applying it, Presstack won't overwrite their changes; just run the refresh again.

What It Changes

Only the words and the search title and description. The layout, images, widgets and design stay exactly where they are.

It works with Elementor, the WordPress editor and the classic editor, and with Divi, Avada, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, Bricks, Oxygen, Breakdance and SiteOrigin. A few builders, such as Thrive, Brizy and Divi 5, can't be rewritten safely; Presstack tells you before anything is charged.

Protected Pages

Pages are protected from the start, and Presstack never changes a protected page. If you choose Refresh The Copy on one, you'll be asked whether to Unprotect And Refresh. If you then cancel, discard the preview, or the refresh doesn't work, the page is protected again automatically, exactly as it was.

Every refresh you apply appears in History, and you can put it back for 30 days.
