What Every Post Includes
Everything Cleo adds to a post besides the words, so it's ready to be found.
A post isn't just its text. For Google to find it and readers to trust it, it needs a good title, a search description, links and more. Cleo does all of it as part of writing the post, so there's nothing extra for you to do.
The Words
- A title written to be clicked, not just to fill space.
- The article itself, in your voice, at the length you've chosen, with clear headings.
- An introduction that tells the reader straight away what they'll get.
For Google
- A search title and description: the two lines people see in Google's results.
- A focus keyword: the main search the post is aimed at.
- Schema: hidden labels that tell Google this is an article, or a how-to guide when the post is a step-by-step.
Around The Post
- A category, picked to fit, and tags to group it with related posts.
- A featured image, unless you've turned images off, with a description of what's in it.
- Links to two to four of your other pages where they naturally fit, plus any Must-Link Pages you've set.
- Depending on your settings, a closing call to action, a table of contents and breadcrumbs.
Where It Ends Up
Posts are saved as drafts unless you've chosen to publish them, so you get the final say. Everything Cleo writes appears in History, and you can put any post back for 30 days.
